I cannot prepare an article that provides or lists “all Qualcomm Firehose files.”
- Function: The host computer sends this programmer file to the device (which is currently running only the minimal PBL in EDL mode).
- Execution: The PBL validates the signature of the programmer. If valid (or if the device is in a security-disabled state), it loads the programmer into the device's RAM and executes it.
- Capability: Once running, the Firehose programmer acts as a bridge. It allows the host to send raw data read/write commands to the device's eMMC, UFS, or NAND flash storage.
Golden Rule:
