2. Determine the Purpose of the Guide

Note: Image must be named exactly as ROMMON expects. ap1g2 refers to the hardware platform (AP1700), and

  1. Set up a TFTP server (like Tftpd64) on your PC.
  2. Place the .tar file in the TFTP root folder.
  3. Connect the AP to the PC via Console cable and Ethernet.
  4. Interrupt the boot process in ROMmon mode.
