Practical checklist before you switch

  5. Download necessary files: LineageOS build for the Zenfone 9 (device codename), matching GApps package if you want Google services (optional), device‑specific vendor blobs or firmware if required, and a compatible custom recovery (TWRP) or installer tool. Verify checksums when possible.
  6. Install fastboot/adb on your computer: Ensure drivers are correct for your OS.
