The club initially tokenized 49% of its decision-making power through a blockchain token called $CALOR . When the crypto winter hit in late 2024, token holders—many of whom had never seen a live match—voted to sell the team’s star goalkeeper to a Saudi second-division side for 500 Bitcoin.
