Canon Printer Service Tool V3600

The is an official maintenance utility used primarily to reset the "Waste Ink Absorber Full" error (error code 5B00 ) on various Canon PIXMA and MX series printers. Key Functions & Compatibility

1. Close the V3600 tool.
2. Turn off the printer using its physical power button.
3. Unplug the USB cable, then plug it back in.
4. Turn the printer on normally. The error should be gone.

Open Service Tool V3600.exe . If you receive error or 006 , the printer did not enter Service Mode correctly. Reset Counter :

1. Connect the USB cable from PC to printer.
2. Right-click ServiceTool_V3600.exe and select Run as Administrator.
3. The interface will appear—a small grey window with buttons labeled: Test Print, EEPROM Clear, Ink Absorber Counter, Destination Setting, etc.
