Silent Failure Mode

Unlike older Bluetooth dongles that required manual CD installation, the Ugreen Bluetooth 5.3 adapters are designed for modern operating systems with varying degrees of "Plug and Play" support. UGREEN Bluetooth 5

1. Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers.
2. Right-click each "USB Root Hub" > Properties > Power Management.
3. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
4. Repeat for the specific "Generic USB Hub" that your UGREEN is plugged into.

Plug & Play:

Generally requires no driver installation for Windows 11/10/8.1, acting as a "driver-free" dongle. Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers

1. Plug the UGREEN adapter into a free USB port (USB-A or USB-C via adapter).
2. Wait for the OS to recognize the device: check Device Manager (Windows), System Information (macOS), or lsusb/dmesg (Linux).
3. If the OS installs a generic driver and Bluetooth appears in settings, enable pairing and add devices through the OS Bluetooth panel.

5. For Linux, if the adapter is not supported out of the box, search for the chipset name (from lsusb) and install any required firmware packages or community drivers.
