Silent Failure Mode

  1. Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers.
  2. Right-click each "USB Root Hub" > Properties > Power Management.
  3. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
  4. Repeat for the specific "Generic USB Hub" that your UGREEN is plugged into.

Generally requires no driver installation for Windows 11/10/8.1, acting as a "driver-free" dongle. Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers
