- Obtain the license key: First, ensure you have a valid license key for your Fujitsu IRMC. This key should have been provided to you by Fujitsu or your system administrator.
- Access the IRMC interface: Open a web browser and navigate to the IP address of your IRMC. The default IP address is usually
https://192.168.0.100 or https://irmc-ip-address.
- Log in to the IRMC: Enter your administrator username and password to log in to the IRMC interface.
- Navigate to the License page: Look for a "License" or "Activation" section within the IRMC interface. This may be under a menu such as "Settings" or "Configuration".
- Enter the license key: In the License page, you should see a field to enter the license key. Paste the key into this field, and then click "Activate" or "Apply".
- Verify the license status: After activation, verify that the license status shows as "Activated" or "Valid".
- iRMC S2/S3/S4/S5 (varies by server generation)
Basic functions (IPMI, text console) – often no license required.
- iRMC Advanced Pack – Adds KVM, virtual media, remote graphical console. Requires a license key tied to the server’s chassis serial number or MAC address.
- iRMC Extended Pack – Adds multi-user access, advanced power capping, dedicated LAN port support for management.
