The platform is designed to be a lightweight, interactive radio experience. Here is the standard way to get started:

• Stand beside the Fukbox (not on it).
• Place your right foot on top, then your left foot, then step down on the opposite side.
• Continue this “crossover” pattern for 30 seconds.
• Critical instruction: Do not let the box tip. Keep your hips level.

1. Visual inspection: Look for solder bridges (tiny globs of solder connecting two adjacent pads). Use a magnifying glass.
2. Continuity check: Set your DMM to continuity (beep mode). Check that the +9V pad does NOT beep with the GND pad. If it beeps, you have a short. Do not proceed.
3. Low-current power: Use a 9V battery with a clip, not a wall wart. Touch the battery for 5 seconds. Touch the ICs. If anything is too hot to touch, disconnect immediately.
4. Voltage test: With power on, measure DC voltage at IC1 Pin 4 should be 0V (ground) and Pin 8 should be +9V. Pin 3 should read ~4.5V (half supply).
