iAP (Intel Architecture Platform) Interface Driver is a critical system component for Windows 11 that facilitates communication between the operating system and Intel hardware/firmware features. • IOCTL_IAP_ENTER_PROG_MODE → Sends 0x5A 0xA5 to the device.
• IOCTL_IAP_WRITE_FLASH → Splits a 64KB firmware binary into 256-byte packets, each with a sequence number and checksum.

Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates

Open .
