Seven years later, Om gets a second chance at stardom with a film titled "Om Shanti Om," which is a fictionalized version of his own life. He teams up with a newcomer, Meghna (Deepika Padukone), who bears an uncanny resemblance to Pooja. As Om navigates the film industry, he finds himself drawn to Meghna, but his past demons continue to haunt him.
