Install Team R2r: Root Certificate Hot
TEAM R2R Root Certificate is a prerequisite component used primarily for the installation and proper functioning of specific software releases (such as Steinberg SpectraLayers) provided by the release group TEAM R2R
For Linux
- Copy .cer/.crt/.p12 to device storage.
- Settings → Security → Install from storage (or Security & location → Encryption & credentials → Install a certificate).
- Select certificate type (CA certificate) and file → enter credential name.
- Confirm. Apps that respect Android’s user certificates will trust it; some (e.g., Chrome, many enterprise apps) may ignore user CA unless configured.

Right-click the folder.
- Ensure the certificate is in PEM/DER format (.crt, .cer, .pem). Convert with openssl if needed:
openssl x509 -in cert.pem -out cert.crt - If browsers still warn, clear browser certificate caches or restart the browser/device.
- Confirm certificate common name (CN) and usage include “Certificate Authority” / CA Basic Constraints.
- For enterprise distribution, use MDM to push and trust root certificates centrally.
