Here are a few options for a post, depending on where you are posting (a forum, a social media guide, or a blog).
Why read-only? Many game launchers (especially Steam) try to overwrite the configuration file with cloud saves. Making it read-only locks the English setting permanently.
Right-click the file, select Properties , and check the box that says Read-only . This prevents the game from overwriting your change. Click Apply, then OK.
Most Russian versions of Just Cause 2 shipped with the English files stripped out or hidden to save space. If none of the above methods work, your game version might actually be missing the English text files.
