- Step 1: Import the flat Log clip into DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro (with Lumetri).
- Step 2: Apply a Color Space Transform (CST) or the manufacturer’s official LUT (e.g., S-Log3 to Rec.709). Do this just to see the "normalized" image.
- Step 3: Delete the LUT. Now, grade manually using the Primaries wheels. Pull the Log curve into shape.
- Step 4: Add your creative look (teal & orange, bleach bypass, vintage film, etc.).
