- CPU Core: Set to “Dynarec” (Dynamic Recompilation). This translates N64 code to PSP code on the fly. It’s mandatory for speed.
- Audio: Set to “Asynchronous” or simply “Disabled.” Disabling audio gives the biggest speed boost, but you lose the iconic music. If you want music, turn on “Synchronous,” but expect frame drops on busy tracks like Wario Stadium.
- Frame Skip: Set to “1” (Skips 1 frame for every 1 rendered). This keeps the game feeling responsive.
- Resolution: Keep at “Native (320x240).” Upscaling will kill your frame rate.
- Limit FPS: Turn this OFF. You want the game to push as fast as the PSP can handle.
