Mdaemon Default — Admin Password
MDaemon Default Admin Password: What You Need to Know Before You Lock Yourself Out
MDaemon includes a tool called MDResetPwd.exe (located in the MDaemon App folder). To use it:
- During installation the administrator account password is created by the installer; MDaemon does not ship a documented universal default admin password you can rely on.
- Default security settings require strong passwords (default minimum length = 10) and features such as two-factor authentication and password policies are available and enabled by default options.
- If you cannot sign in as the local administrator, follow MDaemon's documented password-recovery or administrative-reset procedures for that specific product/version (access to the server filesystem/console is typically required).
Note:
The installation wizard usually forces you to set a password before you can proceed to the main dashboard. mdaemon default admin password
