stability issues or crashes

While EvE is a "classic" choice, users should be aware that such massive rosters can lead to during intense gameplay if the PC's memory isn't managed correctly. M.U.G.E.N Tutorials: Screenpacks

Everything vs Everything (EvE) screenpack, originally created by DJ-VAN, is a classic and high-capacity motif for the M.U.G.E.N engine

  1. Backup your old data/mugen.cfg – The EvE UPD modifies memory allocation defaults.
  2. Recommended Specs: This screenpack eats RAM for breakfast. 8GB+ recommended. Expect load times.
  3. Portrait Requirements: The UPD supports standard 120x140, but also introduces a "Smart Crop" for non-standard sprites. No more black bars around your weird Gmod ragdoll imports.

EVE uses a specific portrait numbering system (usually group 9000, index 1) for the select screen. If your characters don't have these portraits, they will look invisible or glitchy on the selection grid.
