This study employed a qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews with 30 Malay women who wear the hijab. Participants were selected through a combination of snowball sampling and purposive sampling, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives and experiences. Interviews were conducted in Malay and analyzed using thematic analysis.
