While there is no "official" standalone portable version from the developers, you can effectively use ProjectLibre as a portable application since it is Java-based
- Navigate to
portableapps.com/apps/office/projectlibre-portable
- Click the download button. You will receive a
.paf.exe file (PortableApps Format installer). Don't let the "exe" fool you; this is a self-extractor for portable use.
- Earned Value Analysis: Automatically calculates CPI, SPI, CV, and SV.
- Export to PDF: Perfect for sending Gantt charts to stakeholders without project software.
- HTML Reports: Generate static web reports for team sharing.
- Native format:
.pod (ProjectLibre Open Document).
- Import: Microsoft Project
.mpp (up to 2016, limited support for newer).
- Export:
.mpp, .pdf, .csv, .html, .xml.
- Gantt Charts: The view is functional. You can create dependencies, set baselines, and track the Critical Path.
- Resource Management: You can create resource pools, manage workloads, and track costs.
- Network Diagrams (PERT):: It includes a Network Diagram view, which many modern tools have abandoned.
- Reports: It generates Earned Value Analysis (EVA), Cash Flow, and standard task reports.
Import Files
