Rentry.co uses a unique, user-defined, or system-generated edit code to allow modification of entries after creation. If a code is not manually set, the site generates a random one that must be saved immediately to prevent loss of editing access. Q: Does the edit code expose my IP address?
A: No. The edit code itself does not contain metadata. However, when you use the edit code to save changes, your IP address is temporarily logged by the server for rate limiting and abuse prevention. rentry.co edit code
