Windows 2000
CPR9 is one of the last versions to run natively on and Windows XP SP2 (without trickery). Many older industrial PCs (IPC) that run HMI/SCADA systems cannot support Windows 7 or 10. Installing v12.0 on Windows XP is impossible. CPR9 is the perfect bridge.
Body:
- Resolution: If the Master Disk is corrupted, the software cannot be authorized. Contact Rockwell Automation Technical Support for a "re-ticket" (converting the legacy serial number to a modern FactoryTalk Activation), though support for very old legacy versions may be limited.
- Cause: The floppy is damaged, or you are using a USB floppy drive on Windows 10.
- Fix: You must use a native floppy controller (PCI floppy card or legacy motherboard). USB floppy drives rarely work with CPR9's low-level disk read commands.
