"Sentinel key not found"
It seems you're looking for a review or troubleshooting insight regarding the error message in Autodata (a popular automotive repair and diagnostic software).
- Restart your computer immediately after installation.
- Download Sentinel HASP/LDK Diagnostic Tool (
hasptdi.exe) – it will show if the key is detected by the driver.
- Check
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\hardlock.sys or aksfridge.sys – missing = driver issue.
- Event Viewer → System logs → look for errors from “Hardlock” or “Sentinel”.
- Compare working vs failing environments (local vs CI vs prod). Dump effective env vars and config to spot differences.
