IO-Link is a point-to-point interface used to transmit process data, diagnostic information, and parameters between sensors/actuators and a control system. Unlike traditional wiring, it provides bidirectional data exchange, allowing your machines to be more "transparent" and intelligent.

Part 1: How to Use Internal Links Between Screens (For Beginners)

1. Go to Tag Management.
2. Right-click on "Internal Tags" and select "Open Link Manager."
3. Click "New Link".
4. Choose "WinCC Link" or "OPC Server (Siemens)" depending on your version.

• In the Project Tree, expand your HMI device.
• Double-click on "HMI tags" (or "Tags" depending on the version).

Step 2: Select a Graphic Object

1. Select the object.
2. In the properties pane, click "Animations" (or "Properties" > "Appearance").
3. Click the "Add new animation" button.
