- Set the Node ID: Use the DIP switches on the side of the module. Binary coding is typical (switch 1 = 1, switch 2 = 2, switch 3 = 4, etc.).
- Select Output Range: Jumper pins or software registers. For 0-10V, set jumper J1 to position A. For 4-20mA, position B.
- Wire the Outputs: Terminal 1 = Channel 1 (+), Terminal 2 = Channel 1 (-/Common). Connect to the load (e.g., actuator).
- Send Modbus Commands: Use holding registers 40001 to 4000x. Write a value of 0 = 0V, 65535 = 10V (for 16-bit resolution).
- Test Loop: Ramp the output from 0 to 100% and verify with a multimeter at the load side.
