Before diving in, it is important to note that Smaart v6 is legacy software. Rational Acoustics released v7 in roughly 2016 and v8 (the current flagship) in 2018. While v6 is still functional on many older systems, it is no longer officially supported or sold by the manufacturer. This review assesses it within the context of its era and its viability today.
