  1. Extract archive – User disables AV (already a security risk).
  2. Run SolidWorks.2017.Activator-SSQ.exe – Usually asks to install a local license server.
  3. Copy sw_d.lic – Activator places this file and modifies registry keys.
  4. Start service – The tool attempts to start SolidWorks Licensing Service.
  5. Patch sldappu.dll – Replaces original with cracked version.
  6. Error 6 triggers – At step 4 or 5 when the service fails to bind to ports.
