- Fuel: Minimum 89 octane (RON), fresh gasoline (no more than 30 days old). Ethanol-blended fuel (up to 10%) is acceptable but not preferred.
- Oil: Use Stihl HP Ultra 2-stroke oil or a high-quality JASO FD or ISO-L-EGD certified oil.
- Mixing: Mix in a small, clean container. Shake thoroughly before fueling.
- Never use pure gasoline – this destroys the piston and cylinder instantly.
