- Format USB drive to FAT32.
- Place firmware file at root and rename per vendor convention (if required) — e.g., update.bin or upgrade.zip.
- Power off TV. Insert USB.
- Power on while holding specific front-button(s) or remote key (check service manual) to trigger USB update mode.
- Wait through progress indicators; do NOT power off during update.
- TV will reboot automatically when done.
- Do Not Interrupt Power: Disconnecting power during the firmware flashing process will "brick" the mainboard, rendering it unusable.
- Panel Voltage: Before powering on, check the voltage label on the back of your LCD panel. Use the voltage selector jumpers on the mainboard to set 5V or 12V. Sending 12V to a 5V panel will permanently destroy the panel.
- LVDS Cable: Ensure the LVDS cable (ribbon cable to screen) is seated correctly. An unseated cable can cause the firmware update to fail or display colored lines.
- Resolution Mismatch: Do not force this firmware if you are unsure of your screen resolution. Forcing a 1366x768 firmware on a 1920x1080 screen usually results in a blank screen that is difficult to recover from without a programmer tool.
