Playing a CD or Turntable

  1. Placement: Leave 4 inches of space above the vents. Do not stack a VCR or turntable directly on top.
  2. Connect speakers first (before turning the power on).
  3. Set impedance: The SA-G76 is internally set for 8-16 ohms. (See Part 7 for the 4-ohm mod).
  4. Connect source: Turntable -> Phono; CD -> CD/Aux.
  5. Turn Volume to Zero. Power on. Select "CD/Aux."
  6. Play music. Slowly raise volume.
  7. Set Loudness to "On" if volume is low. Turn off if you hear "muddy" bass.
