TSC-407 Datasheet: Comprehensive Overview and Specifications
9.3 Bypassing
The TSC-407 is a custom or semi-custom Liquid Crystal Display module. It is designed to show information such as numbers (7-segment style), bar graphs, and specific annunciators (icons indicating status like "Battery Low," "Alarm," or units of measurement). Unlike graphic LCDs that use a pixel grid, this is a segment-type display, which makes it highly readable in various lighting conditions and power-efficient.
- Input side: Control voltage range (e.g., 3–32 VDC), input current (5–15 mA).
- Output side: Load voltage (e.g., 24–380 VAC/VDC), load current (e.g., 2 A, 7 A).
- Zero-crossing vs. random-on (affects EMI and load type).
- Dielectric strength (e.g., 4000 Vrms isolation).
Operating Temperature
: Ranges from -30°C to +85°C (Standard) or up to +125°C (Industrial). tsc-407 datasheet
Thermal Management:
The power dissipation limits are based on the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance. For high-load applications, designers should refer to the AOD407 datasheet or similar thermal profiles to ensure proper heatsinking. Input side: Control voltage range (e
If you are looking for the full PDF document, you can often find legacy technical files on archive sites like DatasheetCatalog or by searching the Texas Instruments technical resource library for "TSC407". Operating Temperature : Ranges from -30°C to +85°C
If you can share:
- I2C clock rates supported: 100 kHz (standard), 400 kHz (fast)
- Start-up time: ~1 ms to measurement-ready after VDD stable
- Conversion time: 25–100 ms depending on resolution/mode
- Alert threshold hysteresis: typically 2–4 °C to prevent chatter
