• Generally stable on Windows 10/11 when used with official Ross-Tech interfaces.
• Some users report occasional timeouts with older third-party cables or with very new ECUs if interface firmware is out of date — update HEX interface firmware before use.
• Scanning speed improved vs older 20.x/21.x releases, but full scans can still take several minutes on high-end vehicles with many modules.

• A genuine Ross-Tech VCDS interface (HEX-V2, HEX-NET, or legacy HEX-USB+CAN).
• A Windows PC (Windows 7, 8.1, 10, or 11 – both 32-bit and 64-bit work).
• Administrative rights on the computer.
• Disable any third-party antivirus temporarily (some false-flag the USB driver installer).

1. Go to the Ross-Tech website: Open a web browser and navigate to www.ross-tech.com.
2. Click on the "Downloads" tab: In the top menu, click on the "Downloads" tab.
3. Select the VCDS version: Choose "VCDS" from the dropdown menu, and then select "22.10" as the version.
4. Choose your language: Select your preferred language for the software.
